This course is a 2 day or 14 hours long course designed for those seeking to improve their competency in the sport and focuses upon areas such as escorting racing fleets of dinghies, windsurfers and canoes; providing safety and rescue cover for training fleets and assisting in race management duties.

Previous Experience/Knowledge Required:

Participants must hold and have at least 8 hours driving experience.

 Successful students recieve the “National Powerboat Certificate”. Validated by the Iirish Sailing Association and the department of transport.

Who should do this course?

This is an ideal beginner course, covering all you need to know to safely operate a powerboat. 

Participants must be aged 16 years or older.
