LEARN TO SAIL

Objective Previous Knowledge /Experience Types of Boats Duration Assessment Lead Instructor
By the end of this course you will learn the fundamentals of dinghy sailing, while working in a small group and with instructions from an instructor in a rescue boat. No previous experience is necessary, however water confidence is essential. This course should be completed in single-handed dinghies, but will also allow for double-handed options. This course will be completed over 8 sessions. Assessment is continuous throughout the course. Karl Brady

PRE-RACERS

By the end of this course you will be sailing independently in moderate conditions, will have been introduced to racing and are able to participate in club dinghy racing. You have the ability to sail around a tir-angular course in light winds with little assistance from an instructor. This course should be completed in a double-handed dinghy, but will also allow for single-handed options. This course will be completed over 8 sessions. Assessment is continuous throughout the course. Karl Brady
